Created by the California-based company, Totally Bamboo, this set of two cutting boards won't stain or fade and uses only food-safe, formaldehyde-free glue for assembly. Measuring 9 by 6 inches with a 1/2-inch thickness each, the boards provide enough room for chopping comfortably while still being lightweight enough to easily transport food to the stove. For those who are environmentally minded, the abundance and renewable nature of bamboo makes it an earth-friendly choice and a nice alternative to precious hardwoods. The attractive pieces boast a honey-colored hue that's created in a specialized heating process, which caramelizes the natural sugar in the wood. All edges are rounded and the piece should be washed by hand.
