(More customer reviews)While I don't consider this a kitchen essential, it is definitely one of the "nice to have" items.Our family goes through quite a few bagels a week, and cutting them with the guillotine and then freezing them makes life a lot easier.My kids are older and can use a knife, but I prefer they use the guillotine so as not to risk life and limb!My only complaint is I wish the product were available in black to match my kitchen decor.
