(More customer reviews)I bought this to make smaller loaves for my husband and I.I'm into portion control so that I can make (and eat) whatever I want (full fat and everything) and still stay trim.It works!One trick is to make smaller sizes of everything so you don't expect as much.While I initially thought this loaf pan was too small when I saw it, it actually works just right, creating about 8 small slices of cornbread, for example.It holds 2 cups instead of the standard 9 x 5 loaf pan which holds 8 cups.So if you are using it for a regular recipe, either by 4 of these to give small loafs away as gifts, or divide your recipe by 4.I suggest Progressive International 19-Piece Measuring Cup and Spoon Set which goes as small as 1/32 teaspoon :)

I wish I could judge the quality of the pan, but I'm not an experienced enough baker for that.In any case, it looks to be made of good quality material (not too light or thin, and not flimsy looking at all), and my blueberry cornbread turned out well in this.

Thank-you for making smaller baking pans for those of us who bake...smaller!
