The baskets are well crafted and sturdy, with a nice, heavy bottom to help stabilize them on your counter or table.The vertical wires are close enough together to keep small fruit, such as grapes from falling through.

I will be using them often for fruit, bread and rolls - and probably many other items that will fit in them.
