(More customer reviews)Before I bought this knife, I was using a 5 inch bread knife that came with a set I bought. The old bread knife would leave a lot of crumbs and it was not easy to get a nice looking slice of bread. his knife has much smaller serrations in the blade and I can freehand cut an even slice of bread without much thought at all. The only issue I have with this knife is that is states dishwasher safe in the description, but the cover of the knife says to only wash quality cutlery only by hand. I am assuming that this is an attempt to have the customer keep the knife in good condition longer. To me, the notice implies that the company does not feel that their knife is a quality product since it is dishwasher safe. Since slicing brad does not really dirty up the knife, there is not much cleaning that needs to be done and hand washing only takes a couple seconds so I doubt I will ever put it in the dishwasher. Anyway, I am happy so far and don't see anything that will change my mind in the future.
